This is an introductory post-pregnancy class that focuses on how to safely and intelligently access your pelvic floor and your core muscles, starting with proper breath and alignment. The concepts in this class are foundational for moving safely and effectively after having a baby. If you've have a C-section, pubic synthesis disorder, diastasis recti, pelvic floor issues, sciatica, or other pregnancy/labor & delivery conditions, this class is not only safe but effective for supporting your recovery. If you have pulling on any incision or pain in your pelvis while moving, please find and consult a physical therapist.who specializes in women's and pelvic floor health. This concepts in this class are necessary as a foundation for all the succeeding classes in this series.

This class focuses on building core strength from the ground up. After establishing a strong "lower body" foundation with diaphragmatic breathing, you'll work your arms and upper back to support carrying your baby and maintaining postural health as your baby grows.

Working from the ground up, this class incorporates foundational concepts from the first four weeks of class in a dynamic flow with more challenging variations. Focus is on functional movement, so you can take your post-pregnancy core yoga practice off your mat and into your day with your baby.
